Our Code of Conduct

For a safe and inclusive environment

To ensure a safe and inclusive environment, all members and participants of the Torhaus Koch Kollektiv agree to abide by the following principles:

  1. Respect and Inclusion: Treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. Harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated.
  2. Collaboration and Openness: Embrace the spirit of collaboration. Be open to new ideas and respectful of differing opinions.
  3. Sustainability and Resourcefulness: Align with our mission to create sustainable food systems. Avoid waste, and be mindful of the resources we use.
  4. Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and their impact on the collective and its members.
  5. Safe Spaces: Ensure that our events and activities are welcoming and safe for everyone. Speak up if you notice behavior that conflicts with our values.
  6. Commitment to Learning: Approach every interaction with a willingness to learn from and teach others. Share knowledge generously and support collective growth.
  7. Constructive Communication: Resolve conflicts peacefully and constructively. Use dialogue to address concerns and find solutions.
  8. Support the Mission: Act in ways that align with our mission of fostering community, inclusion, and sustainability through food.

Violations of this code of conduct may result in a request to leave the collective or its activities. Together, let’s build a positive and thriving community.
