Communal meals with rescued food, open to all.

A KüFa, short for Küche für Alle (Kitchen for All), is more than just a shared meal—it’s a space for community, connection, and creativity. At Torhaus Koch Kollektiv, our KüFas take place on the last Saturday of every month and are open to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious, plant-based food made from rescued ingredients.

What Happens at a KüFa?

KüFas are about more than filling plates—they’re about reducing food waste, building community, and celebrating the joy of cooking together.
Here’s how it works:

  • Food Rescue: Prior to the event, we collect surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, often donated by local markets or food-sharing networks.
  • Cooking Together: Volunteers of all skill levels help transform these ingredients into hearty, delicious meals.
  • Sharing a Meal: Everyone gathers to enjoy the food and connect with others, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

KüFas are donation-based, so everyone can participate regardless of their financial situation.

KüFa Dates for 2025

Mark your calendars! KüFas at Torhaus will be held on the following Saturdays in 2025:
